Steve Melchiorre is the Founder & CEO of The Dynamic Group, a premier custom home builder and renovation firm serving New Jersey since 2006. With over two decades of experience in residential and commercial construction, Steve has built his reputation on a simple philosophy: exceptional projects are the result of exceptional processes.

What began as a small flooring company has evolved into a full service construction firm specializing in custom homes, large scale renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial projects. Under Steve’s leadership, The Dynamic Group has become known for its meticulous attention to detail, transparent communication, and unwavering commitment to quality.

Steve believes that the client experience is just as important as the finished product. By combining proven systems with hands on involvement and a culture of accountability, he has created a company where expectations are clear, projects are organized, and craftsmanship is never compromised.

Today, Steve continues to lead the company’s strategic vision while remaining actively involved in project planning, design collaboration, and business development. His passion for building extends beyond construction; he is driven by creating lasting relationships and delivering spaces that families and businesses will enjoy for generations.

When he’s not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and children, offshore fishing, boating, hunting, and pursuing real estate investment opportunities that reflect the same long-term mindset he brings to every project.​

Keshia Melchiorre serves as Chief Financial Officer for The Dynamic family of companies, providing strategic financial leadership while overseeing budgeting, accounting, forecasting, and long-term planning across the organization. With a unique blend of analytical expertise and creative vision, she plays a vital role in ensuring the business remains financially disciplined while also helping shape the design and finishes of the company’s luxury custom homes and spec projects.

A lifelong high achiever, Keshia graduated at the top of her class from Saint Joseph’s University before earning a double master’s degree from The College of New Jersey. She spent ten years as an educator, building a career centered around leadership, organization, and developing others before transitioning full-time into the family business as its continued growth and the demands of raising a family called for her expertise.

Today, Keshia serves as the financial backbone of the organization, bringing precision, accountability, and thoughtful decision making to every aspect of the company’s operations. Her disciplined approach and meticulous attention to detail help ensure that every project is supported by sound financial management and a commitment to long-term success.

Beyond the numbers, Keshia has a natural eye for design and is actively involved in the selection of finishes and overall aesthetic direction for the company’s luxury homes. She believes the smallest details often make the greatest impact, helping create spaces that are both timeless and functional while reflecting the quality and craftsmanship that define The Dynamic Group.

Outside of the office, Keshia is deeply committed to her family and community. She is heavily involved in the Parent Teacher Association at her children’s school, dedicating countless hours to organizing fundraisers, supporting teachers and staff, and creating meaningful experiences for students and families. Whether planning the next family adventure, spending weekends on the boat, offshore fishing, or making memories with her husband and children, she brings the same level of passion and dedication to her personal life that she brings to the business every day.

Trevor Heydon serves as Chief Operating Officer of The Dynamic Group, bringing more than 25 years of professional construction experience and a lifetime spent in the industry. Raised in a family business, Trevor grew up operating equipment at his father’s quarry and developed an early appreciation for hard work, precision, and accountability.

 

During high school and college, he spent his summers building decks for one of South Jersey’s premier custom builders, laying the foundation for a career defined by craftsmanship and leadership.

Early in his career, Trevor joined one of the region’s most respected and successful residential construction firms, where he quickly rose to become its top salesperson and played a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth. He later accepted a leadership position with one of the world’s largest disaster recovery and property restoration organizations, where he built the South Jersey operation from the ground up into a multi-million-dollar division specializing in catastrophic large-loss projects. Managing some of the most complex restoration efforts in the industry required strategic thinking, decisive leadership, and the ability to perform under pressure when every decision mattered.

At The Dynamic Group, Trevor becomes involved early in the sales process, eliminating the traditional handoff between estimating and production and ensuring every project begins with a clear roadmap for success. He oversees project management, sequencing, budgeting, buyout, bidding, and high-level operational decision-making, providing the strategic oversight that keeps projects moving efficiently from concept to completion.

Known for his exceptional organizational skills and passion for problem-solving, Trevor thrives on complexity. His calm, calculated demeanor allows him to navigate seven- and eight-figure projects with confidence, while his relentless accountability keeps trade partners, vendors, and internal teams aligned to the highest standards. Clients consistently appreciate his transparent communication, vast construction knowledge, and unwavering commitment to delivering on every promise.

Outside of work, Trevor enjoys spending time with his wife and children and is an active member of the Pine Beach Yacht Club.  Whether he’s on the water or immersed in anything truck-related, he brings the same passion, discipline, and steady approach to his personal life that he brings to every project at The Dynamic Group.

Joe McOwen brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial success, construction expertise, and uncompromising attention to detail to The Dynamic Group. His career began in the countertop industry before founding and leading a nationally recognized asset recovery company, growing it into an organization with hundreds of employees and helping shape the industry along the way. His leadership and contributions ultimately earned him the role of Vice President of the world’s largest trade association dedicated to collateral recovery professionals.

While building a successful business, Joe’s true passion never drifted far from construction. Over the years, he designed, built, renovated, and transformed numerous homes, approaching each project with the mindset of a craftsman rather than an investor. His homes weren’t quick hits, they were thoughtfully executed, turnkey residences built with the same level of care and customization he would expect in his own home.

In fact, it was through one of those projects that Joe first met Steve Melchiorre, not as a colleague, but as a client. The two quickly discovered they shared the same philosophy: exceptional projects are achieved through meticulous planning, uncompromising quality, and doing things the right way, even when no one is watching.

After successfully selling his business, Joe stepped away with every intention of retiring. It didn’t last long. The drive to build, solve problems, and create something meaningful proved too strong, and joining The Dynamic Group became the natural next chapter in a relationship that Steve and Joe had long envisioned.

Today, Joe serves as a senior project manager where he oversees field execution with the same discipline and ownership that defined his entrepreneurial career. He is relentless in holding trade partners and vendors accountable, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard while keeping projects organized, efficient, and client-focused. His calm demeanor, practical experience, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable leader for both the team and the homeowners who trust him with their most significant investments.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and granddaughter Hadley. A lifelong competitor, he also built an accomplished drag racing career, bringing the same precision, preparation, and pursuit of perfection to the track that he brings to every project. Whether in business, construction, or racing, Joe believes that success comes from doing the little things right, and never settling for anything less than exceptional.

Amanda Melchiorre serves as Director of Design & Procurement at The Dynamic Group, where she leads the finish selection process and helps shape the aesthetic vision behind every project. From cabinetry layouts and countertop selections to flooring, trim details, and material coordination, Amanda works closely with clients to create spaces that are both timeless and deeply personal.

A graduate of Towson University with a dual degree, Amanda began working alongside her brother, Steve, while still in college. What started as a part-time role quickly evolved into a career built around design, product expertise, and an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. Today, she has become one of the company’s most valuable resources, combining technical knowledge with a remarkable ability to guide clients through some of the most important decisions of their project.

Amanda’s product knowledge is second to none. Often described as an encyclopedia of the industry, she possesses an unmatched understanding of materials, manufacturers, and emerging design trends while never losing sight of functionality and long-term value. Her ability to pair beautiful design with practical application ensures that every selection enhances both the appearance and performance of the finished space.

In addition to leading client selections, Amanda oversees purchasing for The Dynamic Group and plays a critical role in curating the products displayed throughout the showroom. She carefully evaluates vendor relationships and product offerings, ensuring they align with the company’s core values, quality standards, and long-term vision. Every cabinet line, flooring collection, countertop material, and finish is selected with the same level of scrutiny and intention that clients have come to expect from The Dynamic Group.

Outside of the showroom, Amanda’s creativity continues to shine. She has a passion for cooking and entertaining and is widely known among family and friends as an extraordinary self-taught chef whose meals rival those of professionally trained culinary experts. An avid animal lover, she also cherishes every opportunity to spend time with her nieces and nephew, proudly embracing her role as the aunt whose greatest joy is spoiling them whenever she can.

Amanda’s eye for design, exceptional product expertise, and genuine care for every client make her an integral part of The Dynamic Group’s leadership team and an invaluable partner in bringing each project to life.

With more than 40 years of industry experience, Greg Vitagliano brings an extraordinary depth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to The Dynamic Group. Having started in the trades at a young age, Greg quickly mastered the installation of floor covering and became one of the rare professionals capable of installing virtually every flooring surface with exceptional precision and craftsmanship. His firsthand experience in the field continues to shape the practical, solutions driven approach he brings to every project today.

Over the course of his career, Greg expanded beyond installation into leadership roles with one of the nation’s largest flooring manufacturers, where he served as a territory manager and developed extensive expertise in product performance, specification, and technical support. It was during this chapter that he first crossed paths with Steve Melchiorre, establishing a professional relationship built on mutual respect that would continue for years to come.

After successfully operating his own business, Greg recognized an opportunity to join a company whose values aligned with his own. Inspired by the organization Steve had built and the culture of excellence that defined it, he brought his talents to The Dynamic Group, where he now leads sales, estimating, and technical support for both flooring and remodeling projects.

Greg’s product knowledge is nothing short of remarkable. Whether evaluating a complex substrate issue, recommending the right material for a unique application, or troubleshooting an installation challenge, he draws upon decades of real world experience to provide practical solutions that few others can match. Clients and colleagues alike know that if Greg hasn’t seen a problem before, it probably doesn’t exist.

His ability to bridge craftsmanship with technical expertise makes him an invaluable resource throughout every stage of a project, ensuring that recommendations are grounded not only in aesthetics but also in long term performance and durability.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with family and close friends, especially when live music is involved. A passionate self proclaimed foodie, he also loves roasting his own coffee and exploring the art behind great food and drink. Whether he’s helping a client solve a challenging construction detail or perfecting a fresh roast at home, Greg approaches every pursuit with curiosity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Louis “Louie” Calabrese is one of the most recognizable faces at The Dynamic Group, bringing energy, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping people to every aspect of the business. Whether he’s welcoming clients into the showroom, delivering materials to a job site, or keeping the warehouse running smoothly, Louie approaches every task with enthusiasm and a smile.

Steve and Louie first met as neighbors, quickly discovering a shared passion for cars and motorcycles that would grow into a lasting friendship and, eventually, a professional partnership. Long before joining The Dynamic Group, Louie was immersed in the construction industry, growing up in a family-owned masonry business that became one of the largest brick installation companies in the Philadelphia region. Working alongside his father instilled a strong work ethic, an appreciation for craftsmanship, and the importance of treating every job with pride.

After his time in the family business, Louie expanded his experience in the marina industry along the Jersey Shore, further developing the customer service mindset and adaptability that have become hallmarks of his career. Today, he serves as an indispensable part of The Dynamic Group’s day-to-day operations, supporting clients, coordinating materials, managing warehouse responsibilities, and ensuring projects have what they need to stay on schedule.
 

Known throughout the company as someone who knows everyone and is always willing to lend a hand, Louie’s positive attitude is contagious. He believes every interaction matters, whether he’s greeting a first time visitor, assisting a trade partner, or solving an unexpected challenge behind the scenes. His friendly personality and unwavering willingness to help make him a favorite among clients, coworkers, and vendors alike.

Outside of work, Louie is an avid Porsche enthusiast and can often be found attending Cars & Coffee events or spending time with close friends who share his passion for automotive culture. For Louie, it’s never just about the cars—, it’s about the friendships, stories, and camaraderie that come with them, a philosophy he brings into the workplace every single day.
